Coroplast fields strong team

Again this year, Coroplast started Wuppertal’s well-known Schwebebahn-Lauf company run with a large team of motivated employees. The key aspect for the runners was the joint team experience, which they enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere tempered with outstanding sporting achievements. Hannah Struck, dual student at Coroplast, even managed to finish as best trainee in the entire event.

Ever since the first Schwebebahn-Lauf was held in 2013, Coroplast has fielded its own running team every year – and it is getting bigger each time. This year, a total of 32 Coroplast runners started the race with the aim of completing the five-kilometre run along the B7 highway. With this joint running event, the company seeks not only to further strengthen team spirit, both at work and outside office hours, but also to promote fitness and health among its employees.

Even though the main point of the sporting event for Coroplast was not to run record times, the impressive sporting achievements that members of the staff team displayed during the run made it clear that each and every one of them was highly personally committed. The achievement of Hannah Struck, who has been a dual student at Coroplast since August 2016, was particularly noteworthy, as the 20-year-old, who ran in the Schwebebahn-Lauf this year for the first time, crossed the finishing line in a record time of 23 minutes and 27 seconds and was therefore the fastest female trainee in the entire company run.
