Preserves the character and the structures of a family-managed enterprise with flat hierarchies and straightforward decision-making. Supports the entrepreneurial spirit within the company as guiding principle for the Coroplast management culture. Is committed to the continuous cultivation of human resources development. Promotes art, both within the company and in its environment, and sees Coroplast as a place of inspiration, not only as one of endeavour. Views digitisation as a management issue.

Has been a managing director at Coroplast since 2001. As businessman and engineer, has played a crucial role in the rapid growth of the enterprise. Is always in search of new technical solutions and has the courage to do things differently to the rest of the sector. Believes in the positive impact of humour, enjoying work, the effectiveness of informal one-on-one talks and, above all, the motivating power of common success.

Torben Kämmerer

Managing Director Finance, Controlling and IT

After only five years at Coroplast, joined the management team in 2011. Is the tireless powerhouse driving the ongoing internationalisation and digitisation of Coroplast. Sees himself as an in-house service provider who strives to view processes from a holistic perspective in order to standardise and optimise them.

Thomas Mayer

Head of Business Unit Wire Harnesses

Joined the company as General Manager of the Coroplast plant in China in 2010. Established the main plant for the Cable Assemblies business unit in Kunshan. Went on to become Global Head of Sales and Deputy Head of Business Unit Cable Assemblies in Wuppertal. Maintains an open style of communication and always likes to be quickly and easily accessible to his employees. Is committed to intensive, cross-locational collaboration with the aim of sustainably developing complex products and leveraging automation to manufacture them worldwide.

Dr. Lei Berners-Wu

Head of Business Unit Wires & Cables

Joined Coroplast as youngest member of the management team in mid-2019. Studied mathematics in Guangzhou, China, gained a PhD in San Diego, USA and worked most recently at the industry giant Bosch. Is convinced that complete transparency promotes faster decision-making and forms the basis for a lean, team-oriented organisation. Believes that Coroplast will also be successful in digital transformation with its combination of outstanding entrepreneurialism, global vision and streamlined, efficient organisation.
